Google Slides Prototyping
Date
Description
ProjectSet currently hosts two major hackathons on an annual basis. Being an avid hackathon participant myself, when at ProjectSet, a colleague and I developed an interactive live session where we taught beginners how to get started with low-fidelity prototyping using Google Slides.
The free and easy method we taught was a process we ourselves used when participating and mentoring in hackathons, providing us with great success. We felt that it would be a great introduction for anyone from any background to the world of UI/UX design.
Below you can see an example video of one of these live sessions along with a select few Google Slide prototypes that were created from scratch during these sessions. These sessions have been conducted over 5 times in the past year. I have also propagated and taught this method of prototyping as a mentor during HackHarvard, with the team I was mentoring placing in the top 3 in their track.
With the success of this session, it was also added to a ProjectSet CPD accredited course module that revolved around prototyping.
