Made completely in 48 hours for the Glasgow University Game Development Society's Autumn Game Jam 2018, the gameplay of CUB is based on the theme of deception. The player controls a cube in an underground desert dungeon, looking for their lost baby cube. These dungeons are peppered with other shapes such as spheres and crosses, who all man the rooms in search of shapes they are unfamiliar with to chase and kill. The main objective of the game is to gain the ability to become other shapes so as to trick them into allowing the player to venture deeper into the dungeon. I mainly worked on the art for the project. This included the basic user interface, the start, loading and filler screens as well as the texture for the dungeons and shape characters. The game can be played here.
